Caitlyn Jenner could face manslaughter charges in car crash

Caitlyn Jenner, formerly known as 1976 Olympic gold

medalist Bruce Jenner, could be charged with vehicular manslaughter stemming from a fatal crash in February.
Investigators have recommended that Jenner, 65, be brought up on charges for causing an accident that killed 69-year-old Kim Howe, according to multiple reports.Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department investigation says jenner was driving "unsafe for the prevailing road conditions" on Feb. 7 while towing an off-road vehicle on a trailer with a Cadillac Escalade. Approaching a stop light, Jenner steered to avoid cars slowing for the light on the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu. In doing so, Jenner pushed Howe's Lexus into oncoming traffic. Howe's car was struck head-on by a Hummer.“The case will be submitted to the district attorney next week,” Lt. Shaun Mathers of the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department said, through variety.
Another woman involved in the crash, Jessica Steindorff, claimed the accident caused $25,000 in damages. The Steindorff and Howe families have filed separate civil suits against Jenner, who could face up to a year in jail if convicted of manslaughter.
